CSCI 6550 - Introduction to Symbolic and Algebraic Manipulation

3 credit hours
Prerequisites: CSCI 3110 and CSCI 4350/CSCI 5350 . Techniques for algebraic manipulation on the computer. Includes symbolic differentiation and integration, extended precision arithmetic, polynomial manipulation; introduces one or more symbolic manipulation systems. Automatic theorem provers considered.
